Lane Closure – Grange Avenue

Continuing, Monday April 17, south bound traffic on South Grange Aveune will be shifted to the center turn lane, between West 18th Streeet and West 22nd Street.

Henry Carlson Construction, LLC will be working in the area, on the Sanford expansion. It is expected to be complete by April 21, 2023.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Marion Road

Beginning Tuedsay April 18, 2023, northbound Marion Road will be reduced to one lane between West 60th Street North and West 62nd Street North.

Q3 will be working on sidewalks. The work is expected to be complete by May 5, 2023.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures – Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, the southbound outside lane of South Kiwanis Avenue will be closed from West 12th Street to the south entrance to the zoo.  The southbound left turn lanes at 18th Street and 22nd Street will also be closed between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Crews will be performing warranty work repairs to the concrete surfacing.  In the upcoming days, the location of the lane closures will migrate towards 41st Street, then back to 12th Street in the northbound outside lane of Kiwanis Avenue.

Traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times.  Access to homes, businesses, parks and side streets will be maintained as well.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within two weeks.

Lane Closures – 41st Street & Sycamore Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the intersection of 41st Street and Sycamore Avenue will have outside lane closures on all four corners of the intersection.   

Construction crews and Xcel Energy will be on site to blanket power lines and install traffic signal poles. Every effort will be made to reopen the outside lanes by the end of the day.

Lane Closure – West 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, April 24, 2023, the outside westbound lane on 41st Street will be closed from Grange Avenue to Minnesota Avenue to allow crews to make improvements to the ADA accessibility along the corridor, including accessible curb ramps and sidewalks with corresponding driveway restorations and concrete curb and gutter repairs.

This is the first of four phases of the project, which includes both sides of 41st street from Willow Avenue to Minnesota Avenue. The entire project is anticipated to be completed by August.
