Lane Closures – Minnesota Avenue and 33rd Street
Beginning on Monday, May 1, 2023, crews will be performing concrete repairs in the middle of the intersection of South Minnesota Avenue and 33rd Street. Westbound traffic through the intersection will be reduced to one lane from Dakota Avenue to Spring Avenue, and the left turn lane for northbound traffic will be closed.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – Benson Road and Fourth Avenue
Beginning on Monday, May 1, 2023, crews will be performing concrete pavement repairs in the intersection of East Benson Road and Fourth Avenue. There will be lane closures on both Benson Road and Fourth Avenue. Eastbound lefthand turns will not be allowed during construction.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.

Lane Closure – West 51st Street
Beginning on Monday, May 1, 2023, the north side of West 51st Street will be closed approximately 400 feet east of West Avenue, at 1600 West 51st Street. Traffic will stop prior to the closure, and alternate traveling through the single lane closure.
Precision Dirtworks will be working on new utilities.
This work is anticipated to take approximately one week.

Phase 1 - South Sioux Interceptor Manhole Replacement and CIPP Lining
Beginning on Monday, May 1, 2023, sanitary sewer manhole replacement work will begin along South Yeager Road from 33rd Street to 26th Street. CIPP lining of the sanitary sewer will follow manhole installation. Traffic control will be in place.
This phase of the project is anticipated to be completed by mid-June.
