Lane Closure – Ellis Road

Beginning Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the outside northbound lane, and right turn lane, on South Ellis Road will be closed north of West 32nd Street.

Q3 Contracting will be working in the area. The work is expected to be complete before the end of the day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue

Beginning Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the outside northbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue will be closed south of 85th Street.

MJ Electric will be working on utilities. The work is expected to take a few hours.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Changes – 12st Street and Discovery Avenue

Beginning Thursday, May 3, 2023, intermittent lanes will be closed on West 12st Street while a left turn lane is added for both direction at South Discovery Avenue.

DTS will be grinding existing lane lines and painting new lines for left turn lanes on West 12st Street at South Discovery Avenue. The work is expected to be complete before the end of the day.

Lane Closure – 9th Street

Beginning on Monday, May 8, 2023, work will begin on Phillips Avenue on the north side of the intersection at 9th Street to allow crews to perform a concrete pavement repair. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times on Phillips Avenue during construction. The westbound right turn lane on 9th Street will also be closed and traffic will be shifted to the inside lane.         

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, May 8, 2023, the outside southbound lane on Minnesota Avenue will be closed at 25th Street to allow crews to perform a concrete pavement repair. One southbound lane will be maintained at all times during construction. The west sidewalk will also be closed between 24th Street and 25th Street with pedestrian traffic being detoured to the east side of Minnesota Avenue.

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.
