Lane Closure – 41st Street

Beginning on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the outside westbound lane on West 41st Street will be closed from Willow Avenue to Grange Avenue to allow crews to make improvements to the ADA accessibility along the corridor, including accessible curb ramps and sidewalks with corresponding driveway restorations and concrete curb and gutter repairs.

This work is anticipated to be complete in August 2023.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Western Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023, South Western Avenue from 18th Street to 22nd Street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A detour will be in place.

The City of Sioux Falls Street Division will be performing road maintenance work.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete and open to traffic by 4:00 p.m.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure - Louise Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the inside northbound lane on South Louise Avenue will be closed south of 74th Street to allow crews to perform a concrete repair. One northbound lane of traffic will be maintained during construction. Southbound traffic will not be impacted by this work.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Storm Drainage Repairs - Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the outside northbound and outside southbound lanes on South Cliff Avenue will be intermittently closed from 10th Street to 26th Street to allow construction crews to perform storm drainage repairs. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained in the inside lanes.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.
