U.S.S. South Dakota Battleship Memorial The U.S.S. South Dakota Battleship Memorial was the most decorated battleship of World War II. It fought in every major naval battle in the Pacific from 1942–1945. The memorial is open daily from May 1–September 30 from 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
