Benson Road / I-229 Interchange Reconstruction

Project Update 2/17/2023 

Commuter Route Information: 

1. During 2023, Benson Road will be closed east of I-229.
2. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained west of I-229 and at the interchange. 
3. Lewis Avenue and Potsdam Avenue will have alternating closures. 
4. During 2024, one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained west of I-229 and at the interchange. 
5. Lewis Avenue, St. Paul Avenue, and Potsdam Avenue will have alternating closures. 
6. The project will be fully open to traffic east of I-229.
7. Pedestrian detours will be provided west of I-229 in both 2023 and 2024.
