Project Update
- This project planned for this summer will be rescheduled to occur during the 2023 construction season due to supply chain challenges and escalating costs experienced throughout our region.
- This project is complex and unique requiring specialized materials and significant coordination between various vendors and partners.
- Postponing this project will allow our teams to better coordination and procure the sensitive materials in advance, thus minimizing impacts during construction.
- The private utility companies that need to relocate the power or natural gas will be doing some preparatory work prior to the project in 2023 with minor impact to the property owners.

- Philips Avenue, Ninth Street and River Road will be closed during construction.

Project Summary:
The City of Sioux Falls will be reconstructing Phillips Avenue from Eighth Street to Tenth Street including Ninth Street and River Road. This project will include utility updates, surfacing, landscaping and streetscaping.
